Product Description

Our Celtic knot tankard is one of our favorites.   It’s stunningly! The highly reflective bowl of near-white (lead-free) pewter is encircled with a pair of elegant pewter bands each decorated with a loose Celtic knot. And the ‘swan-neck’ handle is both one of our more attractive and most comfortable, harking back to the ancient Celtic fascination with the water and water-life.

What is the meaning of this particular Celtic knot? Although in modern times people look for and ascribe meaning to the different Celtic knots, most experts reckon that originally ‘most’ started out as little more than highly decorative and intricate doodling in the manuscripts of dark-age monks in Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and northern England. We’re going to take that as licence to give this knot our own meaning – ‘superior’, because that’s how this tankard feels. From the quality of the workmanship, to the strength and solidity that comes from the eleven-plus ounces of metal that goes into each mug, this is an awesome mug.

Whether you are looking for a single tankard as an unforgettable gift for someone very special, or a set to kit-out an unbelievably awesome wet-bar, we cannot recommend our Celtic knot tankard enough.

  1. This beautiful Celtic Knot Pewter tankard is amazing 5 Star Review

    (Submitted on May 6th 2017)

I personally rate this Celtic tankard from the crafted Cup Company a 10. It's for a milestone event, my son's 30th birthday. We want to give him a quality gift for his special once in a life time birthday. It is reasonably price. The engraving is perfect. The crafted Cup Company offers the choice of many different fonts. We chose the old English font that we know he will love. The service is excellent. They went out of their way to be sure we are happy with this beautiful product. It was securely delivered to us at lightening speed. I highly recommend The Crafted Cup Company for it's friendly service and excellent quality of tankards, cups and mugs.
Thank You Gareth for your professionalism. I will definitely be buying from The crafted Cup Company again. As well as recommend it to family and friends.

  2. OUTSTANDING!!! 5 Star Review

    (Submitted on Apr 3rd 2017)

Quality is excellent! Design is beautiful! Engraving is perfect! As I stated in our conversations, I'll be using this mug exclusively. There is no metal taste while drinking water as was with the stainless steel mug I made the mistake of purchasing. And what company owners call you not once but three times!!! In trying to resolve any questions you might have. Gareth, Sir you have quality throughout your company starting with yourself. Thank you so much. Next purchase.. possibly the Satin tankard as this one is to special to me to use everyday. Take care, George Reed Jr.

  3. We are starting a new family tradition! 5 Star Review

    (Submitted on Dec 1st 2016)

We are starting a new family tradition. Our son was married this year so now we have a mug with each family members name on it for when they come to our house for a drink. We used them at Thanksgiving and was a real hit. Was pleased with the quality of your product. We will have fun using for years to come! Jennifer Sparks

Love them! They look even better in person. The pewter is shiny, not dull. Very nice. Package nicely with a small card that explains the care of pewter. Perfect holiday gifts for my boys. The company was wonderful to deal with; courteous and professional. Everything arrived in the stated time and perfect condition. Very pleased!
